MARCH BULU BOX 2014

Bulu Box is another one of those monthly subscription services, but this time it's for health. There are two different types of Bulu Boxes, the standard box and the box for weight loss (which is the one I chose). It's a $10-per-month service that's designed to help you maintain or begin a healthy lifestyle, through healthy samples and snacks. This was my first Bulu Box, so my opinion on the service is based solely on this box.

The products are packaged nicely and come in an orange box with orange tissue paper inside. My box had 6 products, of varying sizes and price points. Bulu Box, like most subscription services, has a feedback program where you can rate each product in your box every month, to receive points, which can be used to buy full-size products on the site.

Mestrength
This product is designed to hydrate and promote muscle growth, which will help boos tyour metabolism. Mestrength can be used before and after workouts and is a powder that you add to your usual water bottle.
Value= $1.17

Body Glove Surge Energy Gel
This chocolate-flavored gel aims to give you more endurance and long-lasting energy, to help you workout longer and harder. This product claims to aid in burning more calories and is all-natural.
Value= $2.09

Smarty Pants Weight Management
I love that these are gummy vitamins, as there aren't many gummies targeted toward adults. Smarty Pants are multi-vitamins that target weight loss. I wish they provided more than 1-2 servings, as that won't really show you what a vitamin can do.
Value= $1.60

Mediterranean Snacks Tapaz 2 Go
This was definitely my favorite product to find in the box! Its a large snack, or mini meal, and it's also gluten free. The package contains lentil crackers and hummus. I'm excited to try this, though a lot of reviews haven't been favorable to the sweetness of this particular hummus.
Value= $2.99

Yes! Change is Easy
This is just a little note card where you can write down your daily goals and monitor your progress.
Value= $0.90

Helps R&R Tea
This tea is designed to aid in sleep, digestion, and sinus health. There was one tea bag in the box.
Value= $0.27

TOTAL VALUE $9.02

The value of this box was less than what you actually pay for it, so this really isn't economically a good deal. There are some cool products to try and I'll probably stick with Bulu Box for another month or two, just to see if the boxes get better, but all in all, this was a pretty unimpressive subscription box.

  1. I love your blog. Your photos are great. What software do you use to edit with as I'm looking at buying some?

    1. Thank you! I actually just use picmonkey, it's free to use online, really easy and has a ton of tools for beginners.
