I started going to the gym early this year and I've found some items that I have deemed my own personal gym bag "essentials." I try to keep the extra, non-gym related items to a minimum, as I don't feel like carrying around a heavy bag with me every time I go to the gym (I typically walk, as it's only about 15 minutes from my house). I'm slightly obsessed with seeing what people keep in their makeup bags and purses, so I thought a little peek into my gym bag would be fun!
As far as my actual gym bag goes, I use a purse that I picked up from H&M about 2 years ago. I didn't want to really invest in a gym bag, as I didn't find it necessary, and this bag from H&M is the perfect size and style for me to carry everything I need to the gym. This was originally about $50, but I got it on sale for $20 which was a bargain!
IN THE GYM
Nike Flex Experience Run 2 sneakers- These are so comfortable and perfect for the treadmill.
Champion sports bra- It's always nice to have a spare!
Embark water bottle- I prefer having a bottle with me, rather than going to the water fountain.
iPhone 5s + headphones- I need music when I'm working out!
iPhone 5 Armband- I love using this when I'm lifting or rowing.
Gym membership card- It's on a Virginia Tech keychain my friend bought me.
AFTER THE GYM
Conair mini hairbrush + hair tie- My hair looks terrible after the gym, so it needs to be spruced up a little.
ELF Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths- These are perfect for wiping away sweat!
Black Heart Beauty rollerball perfume- Let's be honest, no one wants to smell bad.
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer- Occasionally I'll hang with friends after the gym, so I like to have a tiny bit of makeup to look a little more polished.
Milani Easybrow pencil- Not my fave brow product, but it works in a pinch.
Benefit They're Real mini mascara- I love this mascara and the small size is perfect for on-the-go.
My house keys- My keys are attached to a Miami Beach keychain my boyfriend bought me.
Merona Card Case- This is great for carrying a couple debit cards and my ID.
